    Hi,

I signed up three days ago for an A&L savings account, I emailed Pigbsack to ask when I can expect my points for the account (5000), they advised it takes 6 weeks, so hopefully I will get these points.

I will let you know if i receive them, as it is an easy way to get 5000 points, as you ony have to deposit £1 into the savings account
    - IF I could bear to bank with A&L again ... closed my personal account with them some years ago because they were PANTS at sorting out any problems!

  • Is the A&L offer still on?

Nearly opened a savings account today wouldn't mind getting some points for it! :p

Valentine's Day is all about indulging your loved ones, and what could be more indulgent than the gift of a day’s pampering in a spa? In honour of this pink-heart infested celebration, and to celebrate the release of ‘The Black Donnellys: The Complete Series’ on DVD, we're giving away a luxurious Spa Day for two at a Marriott hotel.

The prize includes a manicure, facial or massage treatment each, plus access to the sauna, gym, steam room and pool. And don't worry if you're boycotting Valentine's Day this year - you can keep all the treatments to yourself if you'd rather go alone! So if you think that you or someone you love deserves a day of pampering, just answer the simple question below to be in with a chance of winning:

There's another quiz on the same page, not sure if it's live yet, but it says 'Count the number of romantic films referenced in this zone and submit your answer here. One lucky winner will win 10 romantic DVDs." I have no idea what the answer is, and I've probably exceeded the limit on the number of romantic DVDs DH could bear to watch with me, so I'm not that motivated to try and find out! :rotfl:

PS On the home page of the zone I've spotted 7. Life's too short to read the rest of it, plus technically that's an impossible question because people might reference films in their tips ...

  • Thanks Luxor4t for responding about the roomes, and indeed it does say about piggy points on email BUT my husband (who is also a pb member) took over the ordering as I answered the phone and has put his email details in for roomex, this was on sunday night,no points yet. Should I just accept our stupidity or if I chase, send a copy of the email showing we went through pigsback ? £20 is not to be sniffed at!
If it seems too good to be true, it probably is, unless its from this forum!
