Hi all, just to let anybody who's interested that I got a reply about using the Thomas Cook vouchers instores and they said this would be fine.

Hope that helps a few people who are thinking about ordering them, I have ordered mine so hopefully they won't take too long to get here!

Thats fantastic if thats the case as I always book my hols with them instore but just thought I would have to book over the phone this year with my vouchers.

  • all you people with the '£10 a day' signatures how are you doing this? how can u make £10 each day?!?
  • It doesn't necessarily mean each day someone will make exactly 10 pounds it's more likely to be every few days someone will win something e.g. tickets worth a certain value each or receive a freebie worth so much e.g. a bar of chocolate worth a quid.
Plus those cashback sites can really add up fast if you subscribe to a few :D

Not that I'm so much involved with it so I may be wrong but that's how I perceive it

My £10 a day is made from various things: ebay and play.com profits, cashback sites and free bingo. I've not included anything worth money like the tickets I won as its not something I have saved myself from spending or earnt as extra money.

It might sound hard but with the group helping you out and encouraging you its actually not. Search for the thread and join up next month. It gives you great ideas on ways to make extra money and the free bingo on its own is fab

  • does anyone know what the boots vouchers are like? im thinking they might come in handy for buying my lunch but dont want to order the voucher is its one of those paper forms that i have to spend all at once. do they offer to put the 'change' onto a card so u can spend the rest later?

also, has anyone used the saks vouchers before? are you allowed to use several at a time? and does anyone know roughly how much a haircut or treatment costs there? i live in glasgow if that helps any.

thanks in advance for any help!

In my branch of Boots, they give change from the Boots Voucher, so it should be ok for buying your lunch. It is a paper voucher and I got the change in money. But best to check with them first, just in case.

Don't know about saks voucher though, but I'm sure someone will be along soon who can help.

I always get given the change on a gift card which is the same as cash in Boots (= you get points etc) so you won't have any problems. Wish I could get real cash!
