The Virgin XL tv package has one French, one Spanish and one German channel included in the price - you have to be on xl to receive them. Sky offers the same channels for a charge of £1 per month on top of any other package you have with them.

According to French BF you need a 60cm satellite dish set to receive satellite Atlantic bird 5. This way you'll get the national euro channels! How does he know - he bought the whole kit from Lidl a few months back (18) thoroughly researched it all and we now have access to......... the same old channels because it's all up in the loft..... He is now renewing his promise to set this up so our kids can listen to French TV.... I'll let you all know

A Free to Air Satellite dish pointing at Astra 1 or Hotbird will give many French / Spanish Channels.

A 60/80 cm dish ( depending on your location ) is all that is required, together with a cheap FTA Satellite Receiver.;)
