Phone call.....

Got a phone call tonight about joining a 'club' for £12 per month and being entered into as many as 500 comps a month. If there isn't a win you get your money back (monthly I think). They said we'd entered a comp and that was how they got our details.
According to my OH the person on the other end was quite rude! Anyone else had a call like this? We know it's a scam but just wondered who else was getting them.

Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A

if you get a call like this and aren't registered with the TPS ask if they can hold a moment there's someone at the door. Shove the phone under a cushion for 5 minutes, they'll be gone. My friend had a phone call trying to sell her something and she tried to sell them something back and "out talked" them. What time?
I've had 2 missed 'private number' calls on my phone today - 4.10pm and 8.20pm (would they call so late?) was worrying I might have missed a win, but I'm sure if it was they'll call back
Thanks for the heads up - hope no one is daft enough to take them up on it!

We'd already missed a call about 1/2 hour before the one we actually answered. The missed call was just after 7pm and the one we answered was about 7.30pm, so yes, they'll call whenever they think you're home!
Nope, no number to report unfortunately.Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
