I wanna buy a couple of maps - Italy & France - can't find anything!

This summer I'll be going to a town on the Vosges / Alsace border, and I'll need to buy a map because the sat nav doesn't have European coverage. Can anybody recommend anything. I don't need a map of all of France, just the region.

I need one for Lake Como too, but I've got absolutely nowhere with that!

Truscott - if you can speak a little french, https://www.ign.fr is their equivalent of the OS - so they have maps at all sorts of scales of all of France.

Failing that you're looking at one of the 200-series (at least it used to be the 200-series) regional Michelin maps.

Predictably, after writing that post, I found a site. I think that it's better than the others for what I want, but I've thanked you both for your trouble!

Aqua3.com were very impressive - maps were just the trick (French map was an IGN made one!) and they were very quick.

They also laminate maps for you if you're serious enough!
