Just a little thing to start the Christmas pressie pile! Went into maidstone wilkos and picked up 2 mugs and teddies (only little but nice enough) marked up at £2.99 each or 2 for £5 original price. On the edge of the shelf it states multi buys not applicable for sale items.
So on the till receipt it shows 2 mugs/ toy = £5.98 saving £5.46 (dont ask- cos I would have said the saving would have been £4.50!!)
At the bottom of the receipt where it shows the discount it says mug & toy -£0.98 By my maths that makes I got 46p for buying them!!

Bargain guess who is going to pick up some more!:j

by my maths it still sounds like you paid £5 for them

5.98 - 0.98 = 5.00 :-P

Troy they took the saving off before they got to the bottom then 98p off
re maths'ing it think they could have included the 98p in the intial saving 'cos it also states all the 75% total!
still if it is that it only cost me 52p still not bad!
