Managed to cut the cost of my shopping!!

Just done an online shop at Asda and ordered mostly smart price or cheapest items and managed to get it down to £39.81 including delivery :j

I believe this will feed the 4 of us for the week with the exception of having to buy approx 3 fresh loaves and a 4pt milk in the week so I am so so chuffed - a bit of a difference to approx £70-£75 per week :D

Onwards and upwards!!

Well done, that's excellent! Just make sure when you nip out for milk and bread in the week, you only take enough money with you for those bits, that way you can't be tempted when you're in the shop.

    Keep it up :D

well done!Think i ought to look at online shopping. Went to shops 3times this week and (includes all non food items as well) spentjust over £100! Have just made an inventory of cupboard ingredients and if it ever stops raining will nip to freezer in garage to make a list of all that so i stop buying duplicates! I would be overjoyed if i could cut down my bill to £39!

I buy on line from Tesco as its the only way I can control my spending. I am going to make a point of only shopping once a week come what may. I always get a money off voucher from here so that delivery is free but i normally spend more than £50 per week as my family eat so much bread, cakes and goodies its unbelievable. I make economical meals though but my OH does a lot of overtime so likes a glass of beer occasionally to relax. I find it quite hard as if I dont spend that much I run out of something.
