free music downlaod sites

hi everyone,
just want know if anyone knows of any free misic download sites i was with morpheus then lime wire but i was told they werent safe and deleted them didnt want to take any chances
i would be grateful for any help

Have you tried Dimeadozen (http://www.dimeadozen.org/)?

They don't list anything that's commercially available so it's very good for live stuff, if that's what you're into.

Also they have a strict limit of 100,100 members , so it sometimes takes a while to join. The best way is to return every ten minutes until you get on - should be less than an hour.

I get all my Music, TV programmes, films and movies from www.katz.cd where you can download about 2 per day for nothing.

Word of warning though, it does occasionally throw some !!!!!! links up but if you are careful there seems to be no problem.

i use limewire and i have for a long time, ya can find most songs on there you want and sometimes the full album, i have recently downloaded the new NOW for my daughter never had a prob and costs nothing. Good luck

But if you happen to be one of the unlucky ones who are picked on by the British Phonographic Institute you could end up thousands of pound out-of-pocket - see here for details.

In addition, I don't think it is appreciated that you recommend illegal sites on MSE.com
