3 BBC magazines for £1 - can you really get them for this price?

Hi,

I've been sent an email from BBC Magazines offering a trial of 3 issues for £1 if you subscribe via direct debit. After the 3 issues it's something like £19.99 for the subsequent 6 issues.

I'd very much like to get 3 issues for £1 but don't want to end up paying £19.99. I don't mind setting up the direct debit and then cancelling but want to know how, and when, I should cancel the subscription. This information is unsurprisingly not immediately available on their website.

Any advice appriciated.

They are usually genuine. I would cancel the day I recieved the third copy if that helps. I've done similar before.

I think I'll go for it - as it's done via the BBC then they can't be too naughty... I hope!

Just make a note in your diary, on your mobile or on the fridge to remember to cancel!!!

I'm going to do it too - just had the email - Good Food it is as I love the OS board and cooking so much!

cancel as soon as the £1 comes out....done this and still getting them.

Today I got £40 odd worth of body cream as a free gift (2 items) because I took out woman and home....only spent £1...nice wee suprise, wasn't expecting it!

There is a sticky somewhere on here with all mag offers!!!!!!!

In fact it says on the email if you cancel within 2 weeks of receiving the 3rd copy you will pay no more than £1
