Threshers Nectar voucher

Advice needed really so not sure where to put this.

Sainsburys sent me a voucher worth 1000 points if I spend £15 at Threshers. This sounds thrilling until you realise its not a useful Tesco clubcard points worth £40 in deals but 1000 nectar points worth £5.OH well points are points.

Its not a shop I visit so what is going to be my best deal to spend as close to £15 as possible. I've an idea its buy three bottles of wine get one free in Threshers, seem to think its mentioned in a superplonk update, dont know wether its current.

Any ideas?

Don't have any advice about Threshers, sorry, but just wanted to remind that 1000 Nectar points are worth £10 in Adams (but this is only useful if you have little ones, obviously) :)

Following on from this nectar thread - I've several points saved over the years and tried to book a couple of fights through nectar to treat the family. The nectar website (truly awful) wasn't working and so I phoned the help line, a call centre in India.

Anyway, as you will probably know the flight offer from Nectar is run through ebookers, fine, no problem.

I asked for 2 return flights (+infant) to Amsterdam and discovered I didn't have enough points so asked about topping up with cash. This wasn't a problem.

However I then discovered that it was going to cost me £212 for 2 return flights AND they would still take 6000 nectar points.

    WOW.

    6000 points + £212....

So I questioned whether he'd understood and had added it up incorrectly. He said "it will cost you £212 and 6000 points."

I said I wasn't interested and so he said, would I like to book the same flights through ebookers? Out of interest I asked for a quote and he quoted me....

    £188 for the same flights.

    Eh?

I leave that thought with you.
