Morphy Richards Microwave does it exist?

Last week end my microwave fried it self from the inside out. So I thought I'd check the Argos site for a new one and came across this nice looking Morphy Richards model: HERE


As it is not available for home delivery I thought cool I'll pick it up from one of my local stores, but upon checking the stock for my area they were all out-of-stock. So thought I'd check the stores near we I have friends or family to see if could get them to pick one up for me, ALL of which were out-of-stock.

The store areas I have checked are:

I'm starting to think it's a conspiracy.

Is there anyone out there who has bought this item from Argos or knows where there is a store with it in stock, anywhere in the UK??

We bought one in Streatham,but I think there were like 20 the same walked out just whilst we were picking up ours. Apparently they will be getting more stock, though no one said when.

Out of stock in Yorkshire as far as I can see. I do find the Argos stock thing very annoying - there may be only one or two in the whole country, but you have to check each store individually. Good luck. Have you checked Amazon? We got a very cheap m/w from there last year.

Thanks for your help guys, at least the outcome is that they DO exist - somewhere!

I have noticed that I don't actually use the microwave as much as I thought, so am able to wait and I'll keep checking to see if stock pops up in any area that I might be visiting. If I find one will let you know.

Does it have to be that model- there's usually pretty cheap microwaves on offer in most of the supermarkets- at 700W I assume you're not looking for anything too fancy?

none around here either, if you have a lidl any where near you, i noticed in ours the other day, the had a microwave with a combination grill in it, for around the £40 mark, HTH Dave.

I too have been trying to get hold of this model from Argos. It is not in the new catalogue, so can no longer even be found on the Argos website - really frustrating!
