Ipod, 8GB 3rd generation - £89 at Boots

Got a 8GB ipod at Boots today for £89, these seem to be £129 in most other places. This was in Meadowhall, prices had just been changed this morning, was on my way to get a 4GB £99 with half price speakers at Argos - £124.
Got speakers from Currys £20 down from £40.

So a blue ipod 8GB and speakers for £15 less than a 4GB and speakers at Argos. DD will be more pleased about the colour than extra memory!!

Oh and 1180 Boots points :T :T :T

u say its for £89 so how can you get 1180 pts ? im confused please explain. im sure its 4 points to the £, and thers no triple point offer. if ther was 1068. ty

Had 300extra points from mailing, 175 extra total spend, 360 normal doubled with double points coupon. = 1195!

Is this a genuine reduction in-store everywhere, or a mis-price that they honoured?

Sounds like a fantastic deal if it is a nationwide reduction!

Been doing some research. Ipods reduced in all stores that stock them as they are going to discontinue them as in-store items. If you are lucky enough to find one grab it quickly as it seems everywhere in the South has sold out! No luck for me and I phoned just about every big branch on the South coast

I've just rang Meadowhall now. They have 1 pink, 1 blue and plenty of black and silver left!!! And all at £89!!

I've just rang up and reserved one now!

Obviously a different Meadowhall. lol!!!!! Just phoned about 30 left, no black, it doesn't come in pink (8GB) but have blue, green and silver.

Just popped out to my local Boots. Assistant confirmed the offer, but they only had a solitary 4GB nano. She scanned it and it was £79 - nowhere near as good a reduction as the 8GB version. Ah well :cool:
