    Hi guys

    telephoned Egg yesaterday (they are sooooooooooo hard to get hold off!! lol) and the lady was really nice she has taken off the unemployment and life covre i had :T woo hoo , told her i wanted to increase payments as well and she said i should wait untill they have removed the PPI and then call back and then increase payments. Must admit they were very helpfull and a credit to egg very impressed by there service. But must admit it has taken me a week to get thorough to them lol :rolleyes:

    Excellent. Just make sure that you remember to call them back next month to increase the payments (as you'll save more money!), even if they are difficult to get hold of :o

    Definatley will be as i will be calling them back on friday as the lovely lady said it should only take a ciuple of days to go through so hopefully will be abkle to save more money and get my debt free date down a lot quicker.

    It's funny I should read this today as I did exactly the same with my Egg loan yesterday. I sent them a secure message through the website and they replied within a couple of hours asking whether I would like to reduce the term of the loan or the payments.

    All I had to do was confirm which one I wanted to do and they sorted it out. They said they will send me confirmation in the post.

    I only actually thought about doing this because of something I read on here. So, thank you :D

    I paid allot of meny into egg card protection only when i tried to claim they refused my application on some stupid clause even on appeal. I would never take out any form of protection ever again. :mad:

    I phoned Egg and spoke to them about this and was told that I had already paid two thirds of it and so all I would save was £270. I said I would think about it and phone back but I'm a bit unsure now. :confused:

    Pinkfluffybabe (cool name by the way! LOL) Take it off thats £270 u willhave saved perhaps to spend on urself or to put into a savings account!! Take it off immediatley!! lol

    I phoned and had it cancelled. They asked a lot of questions and stuff but ive saved all that money so its fine! :T
