Oven cooked curry

Good evening all :)

Tomorrow for tea I am doing a curry, the curry i have is "local produce sauce" so there arent any cooking instructions just a jar with sauce :o

I want to make a chicken curry, i will throw some extra bits in to make it tastey but i wanted to cook it in the oven rather than on the hob.

Any ideas on what heat and how long please?

Also i will be having a go at making a chickpea curry side dish :o

The chickpeas are in soak ready, has anyone had any sucess with chickpea curry?

Thanks :)

We always have chickpea curry as we don't really eat much meat. I usually buy the channa massala spice mix from my local asian grocer and its really easy, fry an onion, add the spice then the chickpeas and add water then simmer. It is finished off with coriander and some lemon zest.
