I recently signed up for sky tv and was told i was getting the £19.50 package and movies free for 3 months. I then got a bill for £33 and was told I would be billed for £33 monthly.
I rang customer services and was told not to worry they would just take the £19.50.
I then got a letter from sky apologising and telling me they had dredited my account with £19.50.
A couple of days later they then took £33 from my account so i rang them again. This time I was told sorry, the extra £13.50 will be paid back into your account within 24 hours,it wasn't.
After 4 days waiting I have just rang and been told they will credit my account so that future payments are correct.
The reason for all the problems is that I was mis-sold the deal because the rep had ticked the wrong box.
This is a long winded way of asking can I force sky to release me from the 12 month contract bearing in mind iI have only had it 3 weeks. Thanks for taking the time to read my ramblings.

What have you got to lose by asking?? If they say no they won't release you from the contract I would fone them every 2 days till they get it sorted.
btw the £19.50 package has now gone up to £21.00.I had a letter with my magazine yesterday advising me of this.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Been in touch with trading standards and have to go in and see them. Good chance I can have contract terminated. Will update when I know more because you can bet your bottom dollar it hasn't just happened to me.0
