Cancelling Experian after 30 day trial

Want to take advantage of the Experian free 30 day trial credit check but when I went to complete the on-line application it says that subsequent months are charged at £6.99 per month, which I don't want to continue paying.
Question: There didn't appear to be any office address or facility on the on-line application for cancelling. How easy is it to cancel after the free trial? Has anybody done this? I don't want to sign up for this if I end up paying for subsequent months and have hassle cancelling or getting refunds.

  • it's very easy just call them and ask for to cancel before the 30 days is gone.
if you take this trough quidico they pay £6.50

I e-mailed them just to say to cancel it. I made sure I requested a reply saying that it was done. Very simple

Their website tells you to telephone them to cancel - it gives no other options. Funny thing is, the telephone number they give is constantly engaged. Maybe yet another con??????????
  • No not a con, try first thing in the morning. This was when I got through first time.

Plus it's a freephone number - so wouldn't exactly be the best kind of con would it ;)

I phoned to cancel with no problems at all.
