Laptop IBM T40 Repairs--freezing

Options
Hi,

I have a general question about my IBM T40 laptop. My computer is working fine and everything is alright until I move it. Whenever I move the computer just a little bit it will freeze and lock or the screen will go blank. The only way is to get it back is to hold the power button down and reboot. I believe some IBM ThinkPad T40 motherboards have a manufacturing defect and I think in my case it is a bad BGA solder between the Graphic chip and the motherboad because there are many cases and symptoms just like my laptop.

So would you like give me some suggestion about where to repair it?
Who can help me troubleshoot the problem further and if the check result is the above I just mentioned, are they able to make a BGA? And how about the charge fee?

By the way, I do not want to replace the motherboad because it is too expensive.
