I havent worked for a few years and since moving i have really wanted to get back to work.I wasnt really sure where to start
43 years old with very little experience! I decided to ring all the shops/offices in the town and I got a call back from a Peacocks asking me in for an interview.I went yesterday and I have got the job. Just a 4 hour contract to start with but it is better than nothing. They told me i would probably do at least 8 hours a week and when people leave there will be a chance to up my hours!!!I cant believe it!!! I am a bit nervous as I havent worked on a till since i was 17 but i am sure i can pick it up.xx

  • Well done hon, sure you will pick it up!!

It can be so scary going back to work (I lost my confidence after two months away!!) but I think it all comes back to you after a few days and you get into the swing of it :)

Well done! :) Hopefully the hours will increase.

I have never worked on a till, but I have always wanted to. Working in an office I doubt I will have the chance now. :(
