anyone know anything about becoming a tv extra?ive fancied trying it for a while,but didnt know how to start.

try googling for independent filmmakers or look and see if any productions are happening in your local area. I know when they were filming in Eastbourne one time there was a big ad in the job centre.

Usually walk on background artists (extras) are not members of Equity unless the part is regular (like Jonathon Ross' mum in Eastenders, she's been on that stall for 20yrs).
