When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I will:
* Loads my 2 phones into their Envirophone jiffy bags that came yesterday
* Bring milk from home - saving 50p by making my own tea instead of the cafe
* Look at more sign ups on pigsback

Thanks for starting!
I am doing a mystery shop tonight so free dinner out (well, after it gets reimbursed)
Looked into getting my car done at Nationwide autocentre with 15% Civil Service Discount, and thanks to immoral angel will go through quidco and get £8 cash back, and use my tesco clubcard for points, so about £35 better than main Ford Dealer :j
I made my own lunch and breakfast, too.0 -
Hello
I have bought two toys from boots in their 75% off sale (via quidco of course) saving myself about £45.
And I have been busy cooking and stocking my freezer, I have enough food in there for two weeks and the majority of it is from the reduced counter in Tesco's
I also wasted £5 on a taxi as it was raining bad and had to get kids to school so I need to do something to make that up.

Hi Jamtart,
Today I will:- stick to mealplanner dinner
- update accounts (payday today!)
- sort out ds's room and clear unwanted clothes/toys to give away
- Update spending diary and budget
- clean inside of car myself (really tempted to get it valetted:o )
- organise meal plan for next week, taking evening work into account
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

Hello!!
Today I will:
1) Have a NSD (apart from possible cake ingredients friend may have forgotten)
2)Replace batteries in friends camera (to take photos of Bay items)
3)Take photos of my horrible messy room (thanks to pigpen for that idea.... if I do that I just might keep it tidy for once!!)
4)Clear cookies in my browsers and apply for new account for MB and PayPaling (my current account is with an overly security concious bank who keep rejecting paypal!!!)LBM : August 2007my debts: less than this time last year....!DFW Nerd Club #706I'm Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts
