non brand health grill vs george foreman

Thinking of buying a health grill; is there any difference between non branded ones and the George Foreman?

I use to have a great Breville 'health grill' - it had removable panels so you could also make toasted sandwiches.. also made it easier to clean.

Can't afford a one with removable plates, that's one of the reasons I was asking about differences as the non branded grills are loads cheaper in price.

Can you do paninis in these grills - I know you can do sandwiches but paninis are much thicker?
