To cut a long story short I received a Default 3.5 years ago.
IMO I shouldnt of had it.
I've chased the company to try and get it removed. I wasnt aware I had been given it until I got a copy of my credit file.
Now T-mobile has said they wont remove it and are sending the debt to Robinson Way!! If I dont pay them the £688 can I receive anything else on my credit file? ie a CCJ?
Cheers

The only way you can get a CCJ on your credit file is if T-Mobile or Robison way serve you with a county court jugement claim form, even then if you pay the debt in full within 28 days, the CCJ will not be recorded on your credit file0

Hiya, I'm not 100% certain, but I would think you can get a CCJ and a default for the same debt. A default notice can be issued after only a couple of missed payments, whereas a CCJ is more formal. This is from the Directgov website:If you get a letter telling you someone is making a County Court Claim saying you owe them money, don't be alarmed. The Court will decide whether you have a debt to pay - and if so, how you should repay it - in a way that's fair to everyone.
The purpose of a County Court Claim
Someone you owe money to (a 'creditor') can take a County Court action against you to claim the money. If you pay the amount outstanding, you can avoid a hearing or judgment. If not, there'll be a simple court hearing in private. You can attend if you wish, or just send the information the court asks for by post.
The court doesn't find anyone 'guilty' or 'innocent'. It looks at the facts and decides whether you owe any money, and if so, how you should repay it.
Are you disputing that you actually owe the money, or just the fact that you were given a default and shouldn't have been?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I offered to pay the amount in full today if they remove the default.
They refused so I dont really feel like paying.
I just want to know if this will effect my file anymore as i already have the default which should be removed after a max of 6 years.0
