They do not. See also magnetised fuel, and sticking a resistor somewhere to lean out the engine.0

My advice is do not travel at a speed which requires HGV's to constantly pull out to over take you, because it wont be long before you come unstuck.
Having one of these things tailgating you is like having a gun to your back, they take nearly three times as long as a car to perform an emergency stop when laden.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. James - there is plenty of stuff like that on eBay. If you read it you'll probably believe it and buy them too. I'm not even going to click that waterboost link because I don't want to give them an extra 'hit' but if you think adding water to fuel will help, and you've read on the internet (so it must be true) that it works, I don't think I can stop you. Do you think there's a reason that diesel fuel filters in particular get RID of the water from a fuel tank?! Do you think BP would just water their fuel down?0

Sure thins almillar i get your point but have a look at this and tell me what you think..?

this bloke says:
This is just water being split into Hydrogen and Oxygen gas with electricity. Most systems add a small amount of this gas to the fuel mix via the air inlet. It acts as a combustion enhancer, making the regular fuel burn quicker giving more power early in the combustion stroke, thereby increasing power with the same amount of fuel - resulting in better mileage. It also makes for more complete combustion, thus cleaner exhausts and engines.
I have used this for some years now and in summer I save about 20 - 25%, less in winter as more gas is produced when the electrolyzer is warm.
This is being suppressed as it could lead to us not needing fossile fuel to run our cars at all, see this video for example:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py8QYt54EpE
A couple of years ago lots of manuals selling an open source system on how to make a complicated but highly efficient system, were sold on the pitch that one could make and install this in a weekend. These sellers knew a lot about how to make money on the internet, but little about these systems or ethics - givng those who provided honest products a bad name too, and resulting in the subject being banned from pay per click marketing in search engines.
Learn how to make these systems for free or at low cost here:

Hi,
appologies if these suggestions are repeated elsewhere on the forum. Below are a couple of tried and tested ways (or so a mechanic mate tells me) to cut driving costs a little.
1) When going down a hill, engage a low gear, to utilise "engine breaking", most effective in diesel's as they have more torque or "grunt". Yes the engine will sound quite noisy as it will have high revs. However, believe it or not, despite this it's only using fuel when the accelerator is pressed. Watch your "current consumption" drop on your fuel computer when you try this, if you don't believe me.
2)Consider having your car engine fitted with a performance enhancing "chip", these not only increase the power by approx 20%, making it nippier, they also enhance the fuel economy by 20 - 40% depending on the driving conditions (better effects in a diesel). The initial cost of £270 - £300 is off set by the savings in fuel economy ( over 6 -8K) & if done properly dosen't damage your engine. *BE CAREFUL* ensure you go to a reputable dealer to carry out the work, it may void your warranty with the manufacturer (some fit there own "Chips" @ twice the price), and you need to check with your insurer. Having said this the chips are easily plugged in and removed. If you have your engine electronically remapped these aren't traceable (get my drift).0 -

In the Tesco Momentum 99 literature on their website claiming an MPG benefit regardless of whether the car needs super unleaded or not. If you go by their figures and get the calculator out works out making the extra 5p worthwhile, even on the car they tested with the lowest mpg benefit. I was unable to replicate this with my Skoda Fabia 1.4mpi 8v (old Skoda pushrod engine) and get same amount of miles per tank. Shell Fuelsave RON95 seems to give a bit more MPG than Tesco or Morissons fuel.0 -
All I can say is I've seen my mates car (skoda Octavia 1.9 tdi) fitted with a "box" or "chip", as opposed to a re-map, driven over a set distance with a full tank of fuel. Then refilled with fuel, driven the same route at the same speed, without the "box" and there's a significant difference in favour of the chip. I must admit I was skeptical too. Apparently the engines are mass produced & fitted to cars all over the world. Climatic conditions, fuel grades all differ, hence the engines are tuned to a setting with this in mind, which may not be the best setting for the U.K.
As for Ebay, well, what can I say? I did say go to a reputable dealer. Some places offer a free trial. Try it, don't try it,makes no difference to me, just keep shellng out extortionate prices everytime you fill up. The only reason I've not had it done is because I drive a company lease car, but I have seen the proof.0
