Serious Debt!!

Hey everyone.

Not sure if this is posted in the right place but I need some advice..my mam is trying to get outta some serious £10,000 worth of debt and has dragged me into help lol. I was thinking of a balance transfer for the debt to give her more time with less interest but most of the debt is in bank loans and I aint sure if you can transfer the balance for them...anyone know???

Also has anybody got some ideas on how to make extra money, i've came up with Ebay and thats about it at the moment..I just wana try and help her get outta this as soon as I can and thought tht the MSE's were the best ppl to ask :T

May I suggest you ost this thread on the Debt Free Wannabe section. You will get loads of advice and much quicker than through this one. I don't think you can transfer bank loans, OD's yes sometimes but I've not seen loans being transferred.

Also, try coming over and reading some of the sticky threads on the ebay and other auctions forum (see my signature) so you can get an idea how to start selling on ebay. If you have a lot of books or CDs/DVDs you would consider selling you might also want to consider listing on Amazon, and again there is a thread on the ebay and other auctions board.

You can ask the BG for this board to move it, or you can start a new thread if you prefer on the relevant boards and just let this thread die or get closed by the BG.
