This offer has a month to go so hope that counts as a grabbit; could be a WSL before that though at this price.
Del X30 624MHz PDA with bluetooth and wifi finally broke the 200 pound mark. Many people are going for smatphone these days rather than PDA but I still think that is a good price for this gadget.

is it worth spending a bit more and going for the axim x50v?0

I got one of these last month for £205 from a dell special offer. Excellent PDA. mine arrives with a 256 SD card although I hadn't paid for one and there was no mention of it when I ordered, not that I'm complaining. I'd highly recommend it. worth every penny.Sigless0

I was thinking of getting one of these recently, absolutely fab value for money but there was just one question mark for me. I believe there's a new version of Windows Mobile due to drop sometime soon'ish and the discussion forum I looked at suggested that Dell would not be offering the upgrade for the X30 only for the X50 (it's not an upgrade you can do unless the manufacturer supplies the update). This put me off a little beacause I really want the wireless networking to be as good as poss.0

mayb go for the x50v then...i am seriously thinking of doing the same. I really want the wireless feature and am stuck between the x50v with a 3.7inch screen or a HP hx4700 with a 4inch screen.
ALso the x50v is also on £50 off and free delivery from dell.

Does the HP have the VGA screen like the X50v? The girl who sits next to me at work has one and the readability of the text is much better than my old ipaq - something which would be great for using it as a browser or TomTom sat nav machine..0 -

you would need to get a bluetooth satellite reciever and GPS software. eBay seeems to be a good place.0 -

regardsErrr, the X30 wireless i.e. the 196 quid one on the dell site has both 802.11b wireless and bluetooth the same as the X50v
The main diffrerence is the VGA screen on the X50v plus more video memory and expansion options.0 -

Yes, you need a gps receiver, bluetooth or cabled version, the latter is cheaper plus some mapping software and your ready to go.
You will also probably want a car holder, and car power lead but these are optional
You can get the lot in a kit form from the likes of https://www.totalpda.co.uk and others.0
