There's a thread about Avon on the Up Your Income (I always giggle when I read that, because it sounds like a Carry On film :rotfl:) board. It's worth a read - there is quite a bit of info on there.

I know what you mean :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well, I got the paper and it's heaving with jobs. Virtually nothing for me though, lots of 'care' related jobs, nursing, payroll, sales and a smattering of engineering type roles. Only 2 I'm going to go for, neither very exciting. Both part time admin posts. I'm selling myself so short though with the experience I have but I just can't be fagged with going back into senior management.

Ah well..........better fire up AQA for the afternoon I guess!

Lol, I know that feeling - mine only ever looks nice on the days I have been to the hairdresser. It's a good excuse to go out and show it off though!

Hey LP/Keren... hugs for those having a bad day!

Hey everyone else... Snags, how much is a laptop at Asda? I don't need one but i'm getting a pay rise next month and might treat myself... it's just too cold to sit in the kitchen on t'internet, i'd rather be sitting on the couch!

Or i might wait until my mobile contract expires and see if i can pick up a laptop then as a freebie, but that's ever hopeful. Thought about changing broadband to AOL for free laptop but happy with orange (and using 241 weds at cinema!)

Oh keren sorry you're feeling crap too. I'm having a hard time shaking this thing as well and I have no right what so ever to be depressed, I love my job, great kids, lovely hubby, nice house, money in the bank. My sleep is a bit all over the place, so this morning I went back to bed for a couple of hours after the kids went to school, it was probably the wrong thing to do really, I should have got active instead, it's no good sitting here in Pjs at 1.30 when I haven't even emptied the dishwasher yet or put away the breakfast things.

Anyway, keep on top of it, and if you need to go back on 'mother's little helpers' for a bit, then so be it. It'll only be a temporary thing and it might give you the boost you need to improve the job thing.

    Afternoon all

IA well done on K sleeping through again. I know you were having real issues with this, so I hope you are enjoying the sleep

Gemmzie wow £500! As you can see from my sig I have joined the £2008 in 2008 challenge. But I don't win anything. ! Ok I am not as conscientious as some with doing comps but surely one little holiday for 4 to the west indies or disney land wouldn't hurt.....

Snaggles are you in the position to be able to buy a doer upper in a better area so you money will stretch?

Lp and Keren hope you feeling more up beat soon

Gosh but it is windy here (I mean outside!!!!). I have given up on looking half decent today, as every time I go outside I end up looking like the proverbial pulled through the hedge! Still must get something done today.

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
