LCD TV unsure of size, bigger than 32"

Our 32 LCD TV is dying, colours are going to hell the longer the set stays on, so cut our losses and buy a new one. Want a bigger one than 32", TV will be hooked up to a computer, looking for one that is fairly future proof. I know that cheapest may not be best when it comes to TVs, but still looking for most bangs for my buck!!!!!!!
