I would like to bring this ethical/ green website to everyone's attention as I have bought some nice things from here and at the moment they have a 50% reduction on their bags made from recycled materials. I can assure you that I have no affiliation with them at all - just like the stuff!:T
The website is https://www.adila.co.uk and if you click on bags and then on funky plastic bags you will see the sale ones. Lots of different sizes and shapes - very strong and most importantly ethically produced. Recommended products - have just ordered another one!:j

Being a man I have no interested buying bags. But I would like to say that there are many threads on here about making your own bags. I think this is a far more green way of doing things. You are making something that you will use, saving money as you don't have to buy a bag, and also saving on the postage.
I salute anyone who can make their own bags, but have to say, as a single man I have to resort to taking five old carrier bags to my local somerfield and exchanging them for a bag for life.
They don't last a lifetime, but I find that if I take an old one back, be polite, smile sweetly and flutter my eyelashes they will replace an old one for a new one.0 -
