Hi I was hoping someone would be able to recommend a good website for buying birthday cards. I have had a number of birthdays and spent about £3 a card.
Thanks

Sorry, I don't know of any websites but I always buy my cards at Card Factory, I presume they are national. There cards are really cheap and you can get hand made cards for 99p.

I've had a look at my favourites on my computer and came across this site, called the card and gift company. Their cards are about £2.30 (freepost and they send same day if you order before 2pm)
They also have some sale cards here:
http://www.thecardandgiftcompany.co.uk/Cards/SALE-Cards/B-day-Cards
These cards are £1.49 and some 99p
, quite nice designs too.
They also sell some gifts and do an email reminder service, when I looked they were also offering a free email daily horoscope service!
Sounds goods huh? I must admit I haven't tried them myself as I make my own cards but HTH.I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
I've bought lovely boxes of cards from the Book People in the past. They have a great collection of 30 children's cards at the moment for only £12.99 - they are 3D, pop up, stand up etc. I bought a box like this from them a couple of months ago and out of 30 there were only 2 I didn't like and the others were really lovely. The website is https://www.thebookpeople.co.uk and the code for these cards is CJX.
They also have two sets of handmade Indian cards - 20 cards for £9.99 - I haven't seen these so I don't know what they are like but I can only say that I have been really happy with the cards I have bought from them in the past. (Code for these two sets are KPN and XKPN).0 -

If you are anywhere near Woking then there is a Card Factory there, opposite the Body Shop;)
If you have children then my tip is to either get them to draw a picture for a birthday card, even a scribble from a toddler goes down well, or else write Happy Birthday on a large peice of card (I use the reverse of a cereal packet) & take a digital photo of them holding it. Print out & wack on a folded peice of A4 & volia! Don't know if this would be quite a cute if you don't have children & have to pose yourself though:p
