Ordered CD, not arrived, can I cancel?

Hi, I'm new to this site so please be nice!
I ordered a cd online over 2 months ago and was charged for it straight away. When it hadn't arrived after a month I emailed them to find out where it was. They replied saying they had distribution problems with the cd and would let me know when it was available. I've now been waiting for over 2 months for the CD and I've had enough. I'd like to cancel the order and get my money back. Can I do this or am I bound to go through with the order?

Welcome to the site
(I'm fairly new too, but they all seem to be fairly welcoming
)
If they specified a date for it to be delivered by, and it has passed, then you are entitled to a full refund.
I would suggest contacting the site that sold you the CD and asking for a refund, seeing as 30 days had passed since the order when you first contacted them. (You would've been eligible for a full refund then, as far as I can make out.)
The following was taken from the article at http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/consumer-rights-refunds-exchan
If the goods don’t arrive on time
The Distance Selling Regulations also give you protection if you ordered something online, by phone, fax or mail order and either you or the seller specified a certain delivery date (e.g. in time for a birthday or Christmas) but it wasn’t delivered on time. If this happens you’ve a right to a full refund. If a date wasn’t specified, then delivery should be within 30 days.0
