I bought one over a year ago from Argos ( own Brand ) cost about £99 after £10 voucher, works great and i am well pleased.
My tip buy the biggest capacity unit you can the smaller ones are false economy
good luck and you will be amazed by the volume of water that is removed and how much warmer your home is.0 -

Hi there... we bought this one last week from Amazon... http://www.amazon.co.uk/DeLonghi-DEM10-Compact-Dehumidifier/dp/B000BP81DW/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=kitchen&qid=1199915318&sr=8-1
DeLonghi DEM10 Compact Dehumidifier It was delivered on Monday and the instructions said to leave it for 24 hours before turning it on. We had it on for about 10 hours yesterday and it extracted half a tank of water... about 1 litre. The cord is about a meter long, and it does come with a short tube so you can drain the water into something else. It is quiet, sounds like a desk fan or small air conditioner. Instructions also say to leave a space of 50 cm in front and behind the unit so it works properly. It was £99.95, so a shade under your £100 budget, but no shipping costs if you use the free delivery option from Amazon. This is the first one I have had... but so far, so good!

Hi,
I too can reccommend the Delonghi range. I have had model number DE120 for 6 years but unfortunately models move on and this one is no longer manufactured. It has been superb and now I couldn't do without it. My niece has just rented a modern flat in London and it streams (or rather did so) with condensation (can't leave the patio door open as they are on the ground floor). They have just acquired the DeLonghi DEM10 (as mentioned above) and they are thrilled with the results. However, as a word of warning, they are only in a 'Studio' Flat, and although the web site says it is suitable for a 2/3 bedroom house, the tank is quite small and needs to be emptied on a more regular basis than mine. They have not tried the constant drain facility. I agree with the poster above, do not stint on the model for a few extra pounds. I can assure you, you will reap rewards with the right model and you won't be disappointed. The bigger models are DEM 14 and DEM 16 - Sally0 -
Hi I can certainly recommend homebase as I bought one for £70 5 years ago and have not had 1 problem with it. It has wheels on for easy transport to different rooms and it certainly does the job (especially drying clothes in doors,) cheers shrewdal0

I saw a electrical one at my local lidl today for 34.99. Not sure if its good, but its sure is cheap. I did buy a electrical fan heater for 11.99 though and it's really good.
