T.J Hughes. Anyone bought reduced to £5 'lose 10-12lbs' pants?

Hiya girls,
Saw the pants/knickers reduced in T.J's Ellesmere Port store yesterday.
"look 10-12lbs slimmer"
Have any of you bought them, do they really do what it says on the box and what size did you buy??

I opened size 12 - my usual size - and they looked tiny:rolleyes:
Are they worth buying?
Got a party to go to and my tum doesn't go with new dress:o

I bought these at TJ's In Ellesmere Port just before my christmas work do. Was feeling overweight and lumpy and had a slinky dress to get into. I already had some bridget jones pants but looked awful in them as it just squeezed everything up and over and gave me a spare tyre. Saw these in TJs and as they went right up to just under the bust thought it would solve my problem and they were absolute miracle workers.

Although they looked like they woldn't go anywhere near me, after a little bit of effort and struggle everything was in place, slipped the dress over and it fell beautifuly. Felt comfortable all night long, and had loads of compliments and people telling me how slim i looked - believe me they were miracle workers and worth their weight in gold.

I had bought something very similar a year ago in MaKro but they were about £20 and had straps and a bust bit so was not good under my low cut dress. All my friends and family have bought them now, so if they've got some left I would grab them quick.

Ha, ha don't know depends where you live. We may have seen each other searching for the Venice dinner service in Wilkinsons though, as I remember you did a post on that!

Can't check the size as we're in the process of moving house and it's all boxed up somewhere, but I'm a size 12, so if would either be that size or medium. So if I am your neighbour, I won' t be for long ha ha!

Yes i bought these before xmas for my office do, I'm a 14 to 16 and found them a bit big so went back and got the smallest size, they we great and really comfy all night I've had other makes of these type of pants and have been known to take em off during the evening! and one pair I bought from a high steet store rolled down to give me 5 bellies! Only down side the legs were a bit long for me so I took the lace off round the legs with my overlocker. Defo recomend these.
