We are in the process of re-designing AceGamez so you will be able to enter all the competitions in one click and post on the winners forum once the new design has been completed. It should have been completed by Christmas but has been delayed due to technical hitches.

I had that email as well - i won a Brittas Empire DVD - now i know others have had it too, i will email them too!!!

Many thanks HJB I have just had an email from AceGamez saying that I had won a copy of Beowulf and Grendel and should be receiving it any time soon.:)

Just so that no one has to speculate....

Acegamez have been running comps for sometime, often with many prizes each month. No one on Loquax, or indeed other competition services before this area of MSE took off had heard of any winners.

Iirc people have emailed the site for info before (I think I did as well a year ago) - and in fact it's only the last couple of months where winners have been forthcoming.

If people don't question who's winning then how will anyone know? There are numerous sites that we have put question marks over - would you rather no one questioned anything and ultimately let you waste your time or would you prefer a bit of "whinging" went on so as to help everyone?

I'd much rather people whinged a little or had the bottle to question rather than plod along not knowing.

You could say Acegamez are "fighting back" - announcing winners is a basic element of running a competition and imo it's about time they did.

That all said, we're happy to accept they do have winners (the 40 odd emails we've had today demonstrate that, and as such we've blogged about them too)... and knowing they do give their stuff away is good news for all compers - where ever they find the comps!
