try TKMaxx, you can get some lovely sk bedding there, but its just a case of keep on looking to see if they have anything that you like. I have bought Dorma, Sanderson and some american brands that are high thread count there.
Also www.thewhitecompany.co.uk have good quality but limited colours/designs and are pricey.

    I agree!

I bought mine from TKMaxx and they're fab! In fact, I don't go anywhere else now.

The only problem I had was that they're usually American imports so don't always come with the pillowcases, so you have to buy everything separately.

Dunholm Mill (Denholm??) used to do them in Superking, but my local store doesn't stock them any more......I'm not sure if this is the same everywhere though, so it may be worth checking.

In the past I've also bought online from US companies (or you may know someone going there on holiday).....Bed, Bath & Beyond springs to mind.

    Hope this helps!

  • I would echo the Northern Nights/TK Maxx combo. I do have some White Company bedding and I would say the quality is reasonable but only worth buying in the sale.

It is worth noting that QVC tend to offer the same price for all bed sizes, so if you're buying Superking size you really are getting your money's worth. Also TK Maxx often have superking sizes in their clearance sales as not many people have that size, so always check that section first.

I buy mine in Laura Ashley. They wash up really well, 100% cotton, and wear well too. Good bed linen is one of my big indulgences. I've bought from TKMaxx too, but found trying to match pillowcases difficult. OK if you get a plain colour, but if you want a decorative, or detailed type, then I'd try a big Dept. store, or Laura Ashley. I've not bought in M&S for years, but noticed when walking thru' their store at Christmas, that they stocked SKing sizes. Not sure if they were 100% cotton tho.
