I imagine at least 80% of to the population don't live in London, so thats a lot of people - maybe reedit post to say LONDON ONLY

Yes but a lot of people travel to the west end
  • I don't live in London, but if somebody is offering a show and dinner for two for £50.00 then I definitely make the effort..
BTW on Last Minute dot com they do have offers from non-London theatres under meal deals. It is worth a look.

My guess is you don't live in London.

  • Thanks for this information - this will be really useful in future. I went to the west end last night (and I don't live in London) and as a result don't really know the area. Ended up walking around debating where to eat, didn't have much time before the show and everywhere was packed so somthing like this would be ideal as it would mean a dinner reservation at a particular restuarant.

I don't know why people feel that they need to have a moan about this offer being specific to London, surely alot of the deals on here, aren't a nationwide offer and accesible to everyone. Alot of people travel to the west end to see shows and this is a good offer to consider when booking. And as this is the OP's first post, I think that it was a bit mean of some to seem so ungrateful and rude.

Anyway, thank you OP and I have saved this link for the next time I go to the West End.

For those in London it's normally better to do these offers during the week when less people go as your seat often gets upgraded as someone mentioned above. I have done this deal quite a few times and when I saw Evita our tickets were upgraded from cheap upper stalls tickets to £50 circle tickets. and when I saw Desperatly seeking susan again our £20 upper circle ticket was upgraded to a £55 seat in the stalls. An even bigger bargain out of the bargain we already gained! Well worth doing.

I don't live in london but we're all able to travel.
I'm combining this with the £9 travellodge offer and megabus travel having a great cheap weekend.
This really isn't just for people who live in london, and the sites posted offer theatre deals for other cities so it's good for everyone imho:confused:

We used lastminute last night to see The Mousetrap. Had a fab meal at La Tasca and the theatre was only 2 minutes up the road. It was great and there was no pressure to buy anything else at the restaurant. Only paid £35 pp and sat in the front row of the circle which is always my favourite place.
I live miles out of london BTW!
