Hi,
Speaking from experience (I used to work as a chemist in a paint lab), dried acrylic based paints don't come out.
Sorry

Thanks Pauliesgirl,if this is the case wonder why they use these acrylic based paints in school then :mad:Moneysaving? - I cant stop spending because of this site!0

Try this: Pour cheap acetone nail varnish remover on the stain and seal it in a plastic bag, overnight. This will soften the solid part of the paint. Use an old credit card or teaspoon to scrape the solids off. Rinse out the acetone. As the shirt is white you can then soak in bleach to remove the stain. Then wash as normal.
I have rescued a couple of things this way.

If shes using it in school its likely to be water based acrylic which is a bit easier to get out. I read somewhere on these boards about using fabric conditioner on the paint then rubbing it with a pot scourer (the green type). Haven't tried it myself yet but it could be worth a shot.I'm through accepting limits'Cuz someone says they're soSome things I cannot changeBut till I try, I'll never know!0
