Sky problem after high winds

I live in Coleraine and apparently last night (8th Jan) there was heavy rain and high winds.
Now my wife has been on the phone moaning because No Satellite Signal is being Received appears on the TV.

She phone Sky and ran their checks they told her to do, so it sounds like the dish has been moved out of alignment with the high winds.

Sky say it'll cost 65 quid to send out an engineer !!!

So, does anyone know someone in the Coleraine area that can come fix this for me ?

Cheers

David

Are you under your 12 month contract? If not, just tell them to stuff it and you want to speak to someone in cancellations. There is a very high probability that they will be willing to do the work for free in order to retain your custom. If not, virgin media will happily take over.

except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.

    Yep what Talksalot has said

Phone to cancel and explain why they will automatically send an engineer out for free ;) easy job for them anyway, it will take them 5 minutes tops to realign you dish.

If Sky still aren't playing ball phone an aerial erector yourself and explain you need your dish realigned, they should do it for £20 in there hand;)
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

Exactly what I did a couple of years ago in the same situation and yes they did do it free.

Sky do ALMOST everything free once you threaten to cancel your package deal.
