Does anyone know if asda do price match, local stores says NO but i was sure that i had seen it somewhere that they did???

Stores in Hull do, but you need proof of the price eg. leaflet etc.. don't think they accept anything printed off the internet though. HTH.

Yes They Stopped Pricematching For A While But They Do Do It Again Now.

my understanding is that asda do not price match anymore

nothing in any local stores round our way...and nothing online

i would therefore take it that they do not pricematch

Asda still do price match but not on % deals. I.e. 25% off wine. Don’t forget that if you are over charged take toy receipt to customer services and not only will you get your money back but also get a £2 gift card.

asda do not give you a £2 discount card if you are overcharged, they simply just refund the difference in money

I was given a £2 gift card on Monday. In fact I get overcharged so often I give them my xmas savings card to put the £2 on to now as i had so may odd cards lying about.

The last few times I have benefited from this its ASDA own products, and I have had to ask ' Do you still give a £2 card . . . .. ' - I have never had this for non-Asda products.

Asda do give a £2. gift card for EVERY item you are overcharged for. We had this problem a few weks before christmas, I contacted Asda CS and was told it is official policy this letter confirms it;-






So if your local store will not play ball, contact CS on 0500 100055, and complain that the store is not following company procedure.

I can supply a proper copy of this letter to anyone that wants one if you PM me.

thanks for your replies bit of a mix i wish companies would all keep to the same policy, i wanted to buy the aeriel soap powder that morrisons have on just now but they never have it in stock due to high demand, i thought that my local asda which is very near to morrisons would do pricematching so that i could buy the item there??? i find the staff at my local store very unhelpful and not knowledgable at all.
