Quorn chicken pieces and mince £1 each at Asda

Was in my local asda yesterday and noticed that the Quorn chiken pieces and mince all reduced to £1 each.

They normally are priced aroung the £2 upwards so its a huge saving. They all have a Best before date of Jan 09 so will be ok to stock up.


Migt be instore only as online they have the mince priced at £1.70 not £1 but the chicken pices are £1 online.

I think this is part of the post Xmas sell of of stock, Morrisons had lots of their Vegie stuff reduced.

Morrisons in Edinburgh have had the Quorn fillets at £1 a packet this week - didn't have the pieces or mince at that price unfortunately but I picked up some of the fillets.
Will have to check out ASDA.

smaller mince packs down to 35p per pack today in the Oldham ASDA and like original OP says, in date for a few days, ideal for the freezer

Went and did our shop at asda today but they didnt have 1/2 price quorn - the offer in our store was 2 packs for £3.

If you like veggie food Morrisons had a few Cranstons items at half price or less. Their Spicy bean burgers were 74p. They are almost identical to the spicy bean burgers that Burger King do and my kids love them. They also had other items but I can't remember what other than the cheese and red onion sausages.

This afternoon my local Asda had packs of Youngs 4 frozen fish fillets all at 3.00 a pack
The varieties were haddock, cod, smoked haddock and salmon. The original prices were aboout 3.70 a pack except for the salmon which was around the 4.50 mark
I love fish so bought salmon and smoked haddock. These were in the same freezer as the Quorn offer

The vegetarians in my house would not have been queueing up for this . .
