The auto-confirm emails from amazon include this text "Please note that for items ordered from Amazon.co.uk this e-mail is only an acknowledgement of receipt of your order and your contract to purchase these items is not complete until we send you an e-mail notifying you that the items have been dispatched to you. For items purchased from third parties in Marketplace, zShops or Auctions, this e-mail confirms the completion of your contract to purchase those items. " so in theory the contract is made. The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

As a matter of interest - who would be responsible for putting these prices on the amazon site ? The seller ? or Amazon ? i suppose Amazon could have been given wrong info.... but difficult to judge.0

Just recieved this from amazon payments:
We're sorry, but the following order from E and G Direct (Electronics and Gadgets Direct) has been cancelled because the items you purchased were out of stock. Please return and attempt to purchase again at a later time.
When I try again it is now at £103.69. Following on from Sid Harper's post above, where do we stand?

While in theory a contract *might* exist (or might not, seeing as you're buying via Amazon), it's an obvious misprice with hundreds of other items at the same time and you won't be getting it for sure. The thanks button is here to the right. Nowhere.
Some do slip through the net, but once the error is spotted by the store the chances of receiving the item is nil.
It will be in the T&C's somewhere.0
