Does anyone know any good websites, companies etc that do good holiday deals departing from Belfast. As most of the big travel agents web sites do very little for NI and any they have seem to be quite extensive
Teletext NI departures are now available on the web

Prices are not bad

Hi,
A lot of the cheap deals really seem to be out of Dublin (which as you can now take the bus down to Dublin airport for 5£ one way isn't really too bad provided the times are right). Check out these guys:
http://www.budgettravel.ie/
Their prices are very good and I think they're planning to expand to fly out of Belfast soon.
Cheers,

I got a good deal from Portland Direct for next year, departing from Belfast on 1 June to Majorca. Party of 2 adults and 1 child cost £1004 for two weeks in a 4 star 1 bedroom apartment in Sa Coma. At least £200 cheaper than similar holidays with other operators.

Just a small point. Remember that the transfer flights to Heathrow, Manchester, Gatwick or whereever may only cost £20 or so. Sometimes I have seen 'Belfast Departures' advertised only to find that the flight simply hops across to the mainland and then carries on to its destination ... worse still the 'Belfast departure' was significantly more expensive than booking from mainland airport and then locating a cheap connecting flight.
Also remember to consider the cost of getting to/from Dublin - it could be cheaper getting to the mainland (as friends recently found out)
On our next holiday we are flying DIRECT from Belfast ... the first time we have ever done this. I am really looking forward to NOT having to spend several hours sitting about an airport on the way back (I don't mind doing it on the way out but it is a pain on the way back).

I found this site to be very varied and resonable, although I haven't actually booked with them yet. Peace Line Tours,g2gm.com0

try https://www.holiday-special.com . It has a good N.I/Ireland section. Budgettravel.ie are fairly reasonable too but not direct from BFS. They had a large operation from BFS last year and binned it. They used to be better until TUI took them over then the prices went up a fair bit. If you're looking for holidays in July/August you'll not find many competitive deals from BFS unless you fancy Greece or Turkey..they're always cheapest. I've just booked my october trip from BFS with https://www.directholidays.co.uk and got a great deal to Lanzarote. They havn't much over the next 2 months though.Timmay!0

The biggest thing that put me off going from Dublin again, was the parking charges, 50 - 60 euros for 2 weeks, but if there is a bus for a £5 I would reconsider.
Thanksfor the info

If you think car parking at dublin airport is bad try £49 at BFS for 2 weeks!! I left it too late to get into the cheaper carparks and could only get long-term car park place. I'll book it a bit sooner next yearNo reliance should be placed on the above, as i don't believe anything i say either...0

Mr.P.I haven't been asked to tell you that I'm the Board Drunk for this board. As the night wears on, my posts will become worse, with simple spelling mistakes, inane ramblings, and a blatant disregard for the truth. I have no authority to do anything, so there's no point asking or telling me. If you see me past midnight, please tell me to get my coat and order me a taxi.

Got 1 week in corfu 4*Hotel AI dep belfast Aug £360 with teletext. They seemed to be the only operator doing that deal so I could realy haggle.
Operator was going to charge me £18 for insurance but got it for £8 off moneysupermarket.
I rather give a friend or relative a few pounds to run me to the airport rather than paying for parking, its a rip off.
Thanks MSE

Just booked 2 weeks in August at Louis Imperial Zante (A class) all inclusive including transfers (no inflight meals though) from East Mids for me, wife and 15 year old son £1600 via teletext (Co-Op travel freephone number).
Resorted to teletext aftertrawling around high street travel agencies with no luck.
Just checked JMC website to price the same holiday and been quoted £3600 online:j0
