I found the link in "mcad" magazine. I've no idea if it will be any good but at the price (free) it can't be all bad! but it does need 100,000 people to register....ermmm maybe it won't happen then!

it's also possible to register many times from the same computer! just delete the X-cad cookie then use a different email address!0

Have you used the cut down version of Alibre or Alibre as rumors had it that it was Alibre, so not so good then as I've also used it before and was only moderatley impressed, (mainly with the price).0

If you're into this stuff, you will have heard of 3DS Max. If you haven't well, 80% of Game animations is done in this application. GMax is the Lite version almost of 3DS Max, the only thing you can't do in the free one is Render the final images (Render = Make a proper life looking image!).
Rendering though is kind of the best bit about these applications, because you can make something look so real. But because the file formats are the same when saved, you can go load it up in the very expensive 3DS Max, and render from there!
