Investment in 'yellowcake'?

No, it's not something from McVities, 'yellowcake' is the base for enriched uranium fuel for nuclear reactors. As we pass peak oil, nuclear looks to be the only way of keeping the lights on in the West unless we all want to go back to knitting our own yoghurt.

The price has had a multi-year bull run, fallen back a bit now since and the West is not actually desperate (yet) for alternatives to fossil fuel.

BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto look good bets. The other global player is Areva, quoted on the Paris Exchange.
