Balloon Help

I'm getting married in November and trying to do as many thing as possible myself.
I've got some gorgeous balloons and we were going to inflate them with helium the day before the wedding.
Now I come to find out they apparently start to deflate after about 12 hours.
I simply won't have time to do them on the day.
The people I trust to do them will be too busy. I know it would be a mistake to ask the groom and his best men to do them as they'd end up sucking in more helium than actually went in the balloons - eeks.
Any suggestions?

Are you getting special balloons?
The reason I ask is I had some ordinary slightly metallicy coloured balloons which we filled with helium for a party and they lasted for about a fortnight! It might be woth seeing if you can do a test with one of your balloons to check whether the 12 hour thing is true. I think it might also depend on heat of the room?
Other than that, is there anyone else you can delegate to like a friend who isn't involved in the actual wedding? Or someone who might need keeping occupied/out of the way in the morning lead up (I think this is the sort of job I would give my dad to stop him getting nervous!)
Hope that helps a bit0 -
Hi
I would shop around for a balloon decorator to do them for you. I am a trained balloon decorator who runs the business from home so doesn't charge as much for decorations as someone who has a shop.
Shop around - go to wedding fayres in your area and compare prices (some people give discounts at the fayres)
A good balloon decorator will do you balloons on the morning of your wedding - I personally always do them at the venue as then they last all day and are perfect.
Hope this helps - and have a fantastic wedding day

Hi
You can buy a product called HI-Float which makes balloons stay inflated for longer...I did all the balloons for both my daughters and sons weddings...All balloons stayed inflated for weeks. Hope this helps Di0
