PPI Reclaim - No response!!

Hi

I am owed some money back for PPI that I was sold on a loan.

I used the two template letters from this site (second one sent after not hearing a word back from the bank - NatWest).

I haven't heard a word since sending the second letter - I sent it recorded to ensure it got there and it did..

I addressed it to the Manager of my branch. Am I right in thinking that it is just plain rude to ignore my letters??!

I really feel like writing another one and asking why I am not good enough to respond to..

I haven't as yet sent off the letter to the Financial Ombudsman, as not sure what to do, should I write to the Bank again??

Please help!

Thanks.

What time lines are involved here, Martin's guide says 8 weeks for a full and final response, then send 2nd letter(with a choice for deletion/using for no reply received) that gives a further two weeks, then if you've still not heard just send the form to FOS, the banks don't like it when FOS get brought in as it counts as a complaint against them and I think they get fined for each, especially when they ignore the letters etc.
Thanks to all the competition posters.

    Hi Smitchy

Yes, the first letter was sent and I waited 8 weeks before sending the 2nd one.

I then sent the second one with the "no reply" option and have heard nothing since.

Think I will take your advice and write the letter to the FOS (Already downloaded it :D ).

Maybe that will prompt some response!

    Regards.
