stress and tension solution

unable to overcome stress and tension sleep very little, medication short term solution,holistic approach ie yoga and relaxation helps does not resolve, going to try meditation also consider accupuncture but is there any other idea to help ?

    Try burning some lavender oil an hour or so before you go to bed( or at any other time) and put a few drops on your pillow. I swear by Jersey Lavender. It works like no other. They also do a cologne stick which I buy for family. It helps them sleep when they rub it on their foreheads and also helps with headaches. Hope you find a solution.

    Have you tried exercise? I often find that a long brisk walk gives me time to work stuff out in my head and often calms me right down. Also, if you exercise a LOT and really tire yourself out, you'll most likely sleep better as a result of that.
