Anyone know if this site is still up and running? Have had money rolled over since about October and now still says January, hasnt rolled over like it has been doing. No messages on the site since middle of last year. Their inbox is full so cant email them.

I e-mailed them at [EMAIL="info@homepages-friends.com"]info@homepages-friends.com[/EMAIL] on 6th Feb about payment not yet received as I should have got about £22 in January and got this reply on 10th Feb....

I was a bit concerned about giving my bank details to receive my payment by BACS as there is no padlock so it doesn't seem very secure , so I have now requested payment to Paypal instead.
I am checking daily to see what is happening now. If the payment comes I will continue to use them but I'm having doubts about them at the moment.

AuntyS, I've had that exact reply sent to me twice when requesting information about the same payment! It's just canned, I've been waiting on money for months now and they keep just rolling it over to the next month. :mad:

I've had one payment from them in July and had it sent to my Paypal account but I'm sure they charged me for receiving it because it was paid from a credit card!

I've stopped using them and seriously doubt if I'll ever see the £60 + that they owe me.

I am due to come up to payout level in a month or two. Following comments on here, I am dubious as to whether I will receive payment. Is there any other 'companies' that do the same as my search funds?

I think i've heard something like this about some survey sites, where it takes a month or so before they send you their payment, and then they will notify the member that the account got suspended due to lack of activity.

no they dont pay out for all accounts - i had an account with them for ages and managed to build up £30 in searches (all legit and within there search rules) but i was not being paid - i emailed them to ask what is happening and got a reply that i was being redirected to their finance department - 2 weeks later i heard nothing - so i emailed them again - and lo and behold my email bounced back! i tried 3 different email addresses - ones on their site and the one they responded with - and yet they all were undelivered - i tried a week later and still the same responce bounced back emails and all of a sudden my account was closed! they had gotten out of paying me £30 which i had taken months and months and months to earn and no explination of why or how i was blocked from participating any longer. i was shocked - i told all the family and friends i had recomended to close their accounts pronto (and turns out 2 of them were waiting for their payment and then suddenly they were blocked from participating)

I suggest people should stay clear of this one and stick with other sites which have had positive feedback about payments.

I finally got paid by them on Friday - Was a nice wee bonus when i checked my account and i was £50 up. i only use it for completing searches i would be doing anyway so will continue to use it.

I decided to e-mail again on 20th Feb. after posting on here and reading other messages. I got this reply today -

Hi!
I am afraid the finance department are working through a backlog of payments which they are trying their best to work through as quickly as possible.
We ask that you please bear with us whilst we work through this backlog of payments.
I will chase the finance department to get your payment processed as quickly as possible.
