Just a suggestion. But this christmas i used plain cellophane, but used the same size piece of tissue paper with it so you couldnt s what was inside. I could then use different coloured tissue to match the prezzie/person. I used brown wrapping paper for some too which looks fab with a traditional red label and a red bow and ribbon!
  • A few years ago I bought a roll of cellophane from a florist's. It cost me £20 for 100 metres so works out at 20p per metre. I use it all the time and there's still loads left. May be you could try a florist, they may sell you a few metres if that's all you want.
  • Depends where in the UK you are...are you anywhere near Birmingham? If you are try M Latif and Sons near Curzon street. They sell all different types, colours and sizes at cheap prices

Thanks for all the suggestions, I tried using tissue paper under my cellophane last year, had seen i done on here and it looked lovely, however my skills were nowhere near as good and it looked awful. I am about 1 1/2 from birmingham may consider that if I ever go there this year but not likely. Had a look af Flowerhour and they are not open at the moment but will look again later in the year thanks to everyone for their suggestions.
