Excellent Service!
My father decided he'd buy a digital camera for my mother for Christmas '03, when I saw it and asked the price I had to buy one! :j
I bought it and it was an Olympus CamMedia 350?? camera, it came with the case, a 32Mb card (along with the standard 16Mb card) batteries (rechargeable) and the charger, all for about 140 quid!
I was chuffed to bits with it! Wicked pics blah blah...
Anyway, this year I started having problems with one of the buttons not working, so i got in touch with the guy I bought it from. He said he would send it to Olympus (it was out of warranty) to get the button repaired...
I was happy with paying for the repair as it was such a nice camera, anyway, I get an email from the guy at the shop saying that Olympus had offered to completely replace the camera!!
Turns out, all new Olympus camera's come with a 2 year warranty, so the guy at the shop (his name's Ivan!) argued the fact that this only had 1 year warranty and the new ones have 2! They decided they would give me a new camera, and the new one is a higher spec than the original!!!
So Ivan is sending me a new camera courtesy of Olympus and is only charging me the cost of postage back and fore! In total I think I am paying £12!!
I am happy!! I didn't expec this kind of service but I am very very pleased with it!!
