Its a sales pitch forget about it, and it was probably weatherseal.
  • Yes there is lots of info on this company on this site if you do a forum search, peeps have had lots of probs with them - stay well clear!
  • Maybe you should have organised a meeting to discuss a conservatory! When we lived in a 3rd floor flat my husband was so fed up with companies phoning about driveways he finally arranged for someone to come and give us a price - they never turned up!

I got the same call from Weatherseal today too.

I told the chap I wasn't interested. He didn't sound too surprised :)

Yep, Those Dble Glazing Firms are definately doing the phone rounds at the mo! I'll tell them its a rented house, and that's seems to do the trick.

You may be interested to know that the market leader in double glazing (not the market leader in conservatories although they do sell them) went into liquidation today and all of their depots were closed. So i think that says a lot about the nature of the industry at the minute!

I am not too proud to work within conservatories myself, and can tell you that the market leader in conservatories is going exactly the same way..... the market is saturated so these sales pitches are pure desperation unfortunately!

I cant name the companies but the first one begins in zen and end in ith :rotfl: . the second one i actually cant name!
  • weatherseal rang me yesterday, same old patter, I'm not trying to sell you anything, yeah right:rolleyes:
